Something I did a couple nights ago. It's Godzilla from the new animated series (as opposed to the late '70's crappy one >..< ) The movie may not have been great but damn GINO is sexy.

The movie wasn't to bad but I rally despised P Diddy taking Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" riff and using it for the theme song. Made me angry:( ...........nice work by the way:)

Yeah that Puff Daddy (as he was at the time) track was terrible. I actually like the movie myself even though it was bad but then I love the original Big G films too and some of them are way bad. Glad you liked Big G he was hard to draw freehand in OC that pic took a good couple hours to do.

I honestly like the US movie, though, admittedly cause I think he/she's sexy too. ;) GINO, I've heard that name thrown around alot, where'd it come from? I realized it was used when referring to this zilla...I just apparently have been out of the G-fandom long enough to not know the name. :p

So the pic, that's pretty damn well done. Did you have reference or did you do it all from memory? You look like you got every detail down near perfect, if not perfectly. :)

GINO = Godzilla In Name Only

I was on OC with Drache while surfing about the net and happened across some bad screen shots from the show which reminded me on the GBC game of it I have so I grabbed that for referance and away I went. I did a rough sketch on paper first them mouse drew it into Open Canvas and coloured it there (the OC looked better than the sketch did *chuckles*)

I'd love to get thi toon on DVD or something so I could get some better referance pics for the body actually.

Ohhh, well that answers me about the name. :) They did just release a few episodes on DVD just last week I think. I haven't bought it yet, but I think it's just the robo-Godzilla episodes.

I kinda liked the movie, not the ending though, pretty sad ending. =(
But I like the cartoon GINO the most. Which is why like this pic. o.o

Yep, the cartoon version was spiffy. They used to have a cartoon series for thge old version! It was weird. There was this flying thing called godzooky or something. It was as dumb as a brick and it somehow fly, even though it was 8 feet tall and probably 800 pounds. The new cartoon was a lot better.

heh yeah I remember the original (1978-79 by Hanna-Barbara) *chuckles* Godzooky used to annoy me but no as much as the lil kid in the show the new 'zilla cartoon was great I just wish you could get in on DVD/Video here in the UK
